*LIQUIDDOW™ – Trademark of Occidental Chemical Corporation.

Dust control is not dust elimination.
Calcium Chloride attracts moisture, and this is what makes it an excellent dust control product. LIQUIDOW™ is produced from natural brine deposits found underground, so it is safe for the environment.

Due to weather, road, and traffic conditions, two applications are recommended. A minimum length of 300 feet is REQUIRED.

POWESHIEK COUNTY’S STATEMENT

Poweshiek County allows the placement of dust control on rock roads. The interest of motorists to have a well-maintained road takes priority over the interest in suppressing dust. Dust control sections will be bladed through starting October 15th and may be bladed through at any time if the road condition impedes traffic. Preserve your dust control by keeping it properly marked and by filling potholes with rock. Poweshiek County’s dust control policy can be found at poweshiekcounty.org.
