WHY LIQUIDOW CALCIUM CHLORIDE?
It controls dust on gravel roads by attracting moisture from the air to keep the surface damp, even in hot, dry conditions. This moisture film binds fine dust and gravel together, resulting in a hard, low-dust surface. Not only does this help improve safety for road users and decrease local residents’ exposure to dust particles, but it also reduces maintenance costs associated with gravel replacement and blading requirements.
ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL ADDED BENEFITS?
A beneficial residual effect accumulates with consistent application year after year. As calcium chloride becomes established deeper in the road base, stability improves, and frost damage is prevented.
HOW IS LIQUIDOW CALCIUM CHLORIDE MADE?
Liquidow is a purified inorganic salt solution produced by removing water from a naturally occurring brine solution. Unlike other processes used to produce calcium chloride, the brine process does not involve reactions with toxic chemicals such as hydrochloric acid or ammonia.
HOW DO WE APPLY LIQUIDOW CALCIUM CHLORIDE?
We apply our product using our computerized spray bar system. This system regulates the amount of Liquidow Calcium Chloride to apply to each location.
